The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published the provisional list of 71,044 owners of agricultural holdings producing fruit and nuts, who may receive extraordinary aid to compensate for the situation due to the drought and the conditions derived from the war conflict in Ukraine. , which add up to an amount of 81 million euros.
This aid was established by Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11, which adopts urgent measures in agricultural and water matters in response to the drought and the worsening of the conditions of the primary sector derived from the war conflict. in Ukraine and weather conditions. The total budget, 81,082,911 euros, is financed from the agricultural crisis reserve of the European Union, in accordance with the allocation established for Spain by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1465, of July 14, 2023. .
This extraordinary aid is granted ex officio to fruit tree areas, and includes crops of pome, stone, tropical and/or citrus fruits, and/or nut crops that have received direct aid in the Agrarian Policy campaign. Common (PAC) 2023 and that are located in the areas affected by the drought established in Annex II of Order APA/871/2023, of July 20.
