Mr. Carlos García Izquierdo is trained in soil biochemistry, and works from CEBAS in the Enzymology Research Group. In his inaugural presentation he wanted to introduce the importance of the soil as the condition of the agriculture of the future.

In his talk, he highlighted the need to take care of the soil so that it performs its functions, that it behaves appropriately ecologically and directs and manages the entire concert of the microbiome itself that exists in that soil: sustainability as a key concept.
