Pablo Quiros Fernández, project manager at Fertinagro Biotech, gave the presentation "Use of metagenomics in suppressive soils", in which he explained the lines of research developed to try to understand how indigenous microbiomes can reduce the diseases that affect these soils, even in the presence of the pathogen, and try to promote the development of these protective autochthonous microorganisms.

He addressed the microbiota in suppressive soils and the factors that condition it.
